1. Data controller

The data controller is Fabio Scafetta, based at Via del Molinello 16, Termoli (CB), Italy, reachable at info@moondreamusicai.com.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: your email address and password (the password is stored in encrypted form, never in plain text).
• Content you upload: the audio files you send to the app for processing. They are used only to provide the result you requested, for no other purpose.
• Essential technical data: IP address and system logs, for security and correct operation of the service.
• Payment data: handled directly by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

We do not collect name, address, phone number or any other unnecessary data.

3. Why we use it (purposes and legal bases)

• Creating and managing your account and providing the service — legal basis: performance of the contract.
• Processing your audio files to generate the results you request — performance of the contract.
• Managing credits and payments — performance of the contract and legal obligations (accounting/tax).
• Ensuring security and preventing abuse — legitimate interest.

4. How long we keep it

• Account data for as long as the account is active; upon account deletion it is removed within 30 days.
• Uploaded audio files are processed and the temporary files are automatically removed after processing.
• Technical logs for a limited period of 12 months for security purposes.

5. Who we share data with (processors)

To run the service we rely on providers that process data on our behalf:

• Hetzner — server hosting (Germany, EU).
• RunPod — GPU processing of audio files (United States).
• Stripe — payment handling.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers (in particular RunPod and Stripe, based/operating in the United States) may process data outside the EU. In that case the transfer relies on the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and/or recognized adequacy frameworks).

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, object, and request its portability. You can exercise these rights by writing to info@moondreamusicai.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

8. Security

We adopt reasonable technical measures to protect your data: passwords stored in encrypted form and communications protected via HTTPS.

9. Minors

The service is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age (or the legal age set by their own country). If you are a minor, do not register or use the paid features.

We may update this policy over time. Changes will be published on this page with the update date.
